Tyler, the Creator’s fashion business is growing as he partners with Converse for a new collaboration, which also includes re-releasing some classic shoes from Converse’s archive.
The musician infuses his Golf Le Fleur style into two renowned Converse designs: the Naut-1 boat shoe and the athletic Jogger. These styles were frequently seen on the rapper’s feet during his worldwide Chromakopia Tour. Starting today, you can purchase these redesigned sneakers, priced between $80 and $100, online at Golf and Converse’s websites, as well as in their physical stores.
The musician adds his own Golf Le Fleur touch to two popular Converse styles – the Naut-1 boat shoe and the athletic Jogger. These shoes were often spotted on the rapper’s feet during his Chromakopia Tour across the globe. Starting today, you can buy these reworked sneakers for between $80 and $100 online at Golf and Converse’s websites or in their retail stores.
The collaboration between Tyler, the Creator and Converse introduces the shoe company’s fresh 1908 line, a reimagining of vintage styles. The ’70s-inspired Jogger ($100) low tops are offered in Forest Shade (green), Quiet Tide (sky blue), and Tree Bark Brown, boasting a nylon upper with a suede heel wraparound and wedge sole. These designs pay homage to Converse’s 1950s yacht shoes, as the Naut-1 style features cotton canvas, contrast stitching, and pinstripes, available in Cannoli Cream with pink embroidered flowers, Starlight Blue, and Dachshund (brown).
Tyler’s latest Converse designs feature two sets of shoelaces for each model: two color options of flat laces for the Jogger design, along with a single flat set and a thick rope-style lace option as well.
According to the brand, the 1908 collection is a reintroduction of classic styles from their archives that honor Converse’s significant past and its substantial impact on contemporary sneaker fashion. Notable designs from this renowned shoe manufacturer include the timeless Chuck Taylor All-Star basketball shoes, available in both low-cut and high-top variations, as well as platform models.
Even though Converse.com seems to be all out of Jogger colors, I’ve managed to find a stockpile of each style from the collaboration over at Golfwang.com!
As a dedicated fan, I’m not surprised to see that the 34-year-old rapper (né Tyler Okonma) continues to reimagine heritage fashion brands. Through his Golf Wang and Golf Le Fleur labels, he infuses his unique, playful style into exclusive collaborations with big names like Louis Vuitton, Parachute Home, Lacoste, Vans, and more.
Explore and purchase various styles (ranging from $80 to $100) from the latest Tyler, the Creator x Converse 1908 collection that you’ll find here.
