As a long-time fan who has attended every Camp Flog Gnaw since its inception, I can confidently say that this year’s lineup is nothing short of exceptional! Tyler, the Creator truly outdid himself this time around, and his crossword puzzle reveal was a fun twist on tradition.
Tyler, the Creator concluded his impressive week by announcing the lineup for Camp Flog Gnaw. Typically playful with such revelations, this time he presented a crossword puzzle where each clue hinted at an artist. For approximately an hour, fans were left to decipher the clues before Tyler finally unveiled the complete roster of performers for the carnival.
Typically, Tyler heads the roster, and some other notable artists are Playboi Carti (previously known as Sir Cartier), Vince Staples, Erykah Badu, André 3000, ScHoolboy Q, Earl Sweatshirt, Doechii, and Sampha.
2021’s Flog Gnaw celebration is a milestone as it marks the carnival’s ten-year anniversary, causing Tyler to go above and beyond. Meanwhile, artists such as Yves Tumor, Faye Webster, Concrete Boys, Denzel Curry, Daniel Caesar, Sampha, Matt Champion, and Kenny Mason are set to appear in this year’s lineup.
