Tyra Banks is opening up about losing her home in the Los Angeles wildfires.
On the Australian morning program Sunrise on Monday, the model disclosed for the first time that her home had been among those burned down by the wildfires that broke out in Los Angeles.

The model, who appeared on Australia’s Sunrise program on Monday, confessed for the first time that her house was among those devastated by the fires that started in Los Angeles.
“I lost my house,” Banks said. “I haven’t really talked about it, but, yeah, I have.”
Besides discussing her personal loss, the individual mentioned that she had refrained from speaking about it publicly because she didn’t wish to draw too much attention to herself. She explained, “I feel like there are plenty of people who require attention more than I do, so I haven’t really talked about it.” However, unable to conceal the truth completely, she admitted, “Yes, we unfortunately lost our house.
She told us that she discovered they had lost their shared home when they were in Australia.
At a buddy’s place, we were having a blast. I couldn’t help but regularly glance at my phone, not because I missed home, but to stay updated on my loved ones, ensuring they were safely evacuating. Then, I turned to my partner and asked, “What do you make of this? I think something’s up here.” He gave a nod in agreement.
I gathered myself, choosing to remain silent amidst my friends, savoring the moment instead. Later, we returned home, sharing tears and cherishing our emotional bond.

Since they frequently jetset between Los Angeles, New York, and Australia, she observed that not everything of hers was lost in the fire.
She expressed relief because many of the keepsakes were either here or in New York, meaning they hadn’t been lost during a move or transition. However, she did mention that not all the memorabilia was found and acknowledged the difficulty of the situation.
Among thousands, banks and many well-known figures like Mandy Moore, Anna Faris, Milo Ventimiglia, Paris Hilton, and Jeff Bridges were unfortunately among those who lost their homes due to the numerous fires that occurred.
Since their initial spark on January 7, the Palisades and Eaton fires have tragically claimed at least 27 lives and obliterated over 14,000 buildings. As of Tuesday, the Palisades Fire is currently 63% under control, while the Eaton Fire stands at 89% containment.
