A game based on the “Blade Runner” movie was apparently in production for the upcoming Xbox (next-generation) and what is likely to be known as PlayStation 6. However, it seems this unrevealed project has been terminated. The title of the game was “Blade Runner: Time to Live,” which was planned for a late 2027 release. This production was being handled by Supermassive Games, the same studio behind “Until Dawn” and “The Quarry.
As reported by Insider Gaming, the game titled “Blade Runner: Time to Live” was anticipated to launch in September 2027 for the tenth generation of gaming consoles, including versions for the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This game, developed by the team behind “The Quarry” (released in 2022), was said to be quite different from its predecessor, offering a blend of stealth, combat, exploration, and investigation. The character writing was also noted for being authentic, sharp, and emotional.
