David Tennant, renowned actor, shared his preferred Marvel Cinematic Universe character he’d like to portray: Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic. Originally slated for the role in “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” this summer, it was Pedro Pascal who eventually landed the part. Despite missing out, Tennant remains gracious about it all.
Speaking at MCM Comic Con (via The Hollywood Reporter), the Doctor Who star explained:
As for the superhero character, I had a soft spot for Reed Richards, but it seems they’re choosing another path instead. Still, I can’t help but express my happiness for Pedro Pascal being cast in the role if it comes to that.
When inquired about who was referred to as the “bigger daddy,” Tennant responded: “Indeed, it will undoubtedly be him. He’s Mister Fantastic, in every possible way. I think Pedro Pascal is fantastic. I’m incredibly happy that he’s around.
