As a hardcore gamer, if you’ve missed out on the thrill of witnessing the original summer blockbuster on the big screen, here’s your chance! Starting August 29 and running till September 4, theaters nationwide will host a special 50th anniversary presentation. For a unique experience, head to Hollywood Bowl on July 5 where the classic film Jaws will be played alongside John Williams’ legendary score, performed live by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. And for an even more immersive experience, catch the movie at Martha’s Vineyard on June 21, the very location where it was filmed, as part of the Alamo Drafthouse Roadshow. Don’t miss out on this epic cinematic journey!

SYFY WIRE has provided a selection of merchandise set to be released this year, honoring Steven Spielberg’s timeless movie. Additionally, they offer a preview of what to expect at the Academy Museum’s upcoming exhibition, Jaws: The Exhibition, later in the year.

For More on Jaws

Steven Spielberg deeply regrets the negative portrayal of sharks and destructive sport fishing that resulted from ‘Jaws’, with characters like Lee Marvin as Quint and Jon Voight as Hooper. Here’s how ‘Jaws’ could have been a completely different movie.

Were the technical issues with the mechanical shark on ‘Jaws’ due to pesky local children causing trouble?

Jaws x Nautica

This summer, the well-known menswear brand Nautica is set to unveil its unique collaboration with the movie “Jaws” on June 3rd. The collection will offer men a variety of swimwear, graphic t-shirts, and fashion pieces that celebrate Bruce the shark and other memorable images from the film.

Kidrobot Jaws Dunny

Enthusiasts of collector’s items related to designer toys will be thrilled about the upcoming launch on March 27th, which is the Jaws Resin Dunny by Kidrobot. This special release pays tribute to the famous movie poster for the film. The figure, a limited edition, stands at 8 inches tall and offers an intriguing perspective, as it depicts Chrissie Watkins swimming near the top while the menacing shark lurks beneath – both within translucent blue resin. The design’s uniqueness ensures that viewers will see something fresh from every angle they look at it.

Jaws x Eastpak

Instead of surprising your fellow travelers this summer with an ordinary suitcase or backpack, consider opting for a Jaws-themed version instead! This exclusive line, available now from Eastpak, boasts two captivating designs: one showcases the famous 1975 movie poster with its chilling image of the shark’s gaping jaws lurking beneath a swimmer, while the other offers a ’70s-inspired collage.

WOW Sports Jaws Collection

Pool parties are bound to change significantly once you introduce the “Jaws” theme into your deep end. Beginning March 14th, the WOW Sports “Jaws” lineup will provide two oversized pool floats suitable for any swimming or beach outing. One is a full-sized Bruce the shark replica and the other is the menacing jaw of the shark, perfect for a fun and safe float, or to capture that unforgettable summer moment!

NECA “The Game of Jaws” 50th Anniversary Edition

Revisiting the original 1975 tie-in game of “Jaws”, NECA’s replica showcases advanced, meticulously detailed sculpting and painting techniques. The iconic shark measures approximately 15 inches in length, mirroring its on-screen version. Retrieve all the objects hidden within the shark before it snaps down on the spear! Remember to keep a steady hand and maintain a safe distance from those menacing teeth! The set comes with over 15 unique accessories to remove from the beast’s belly, such as an anchor, a boot, fish bones, a skull, a tire, a lantern, glove, and more.
