Universal Horror Unleashed Takes You Inside Its Exorcist-Inspired Haunted House Coming to Las Vegas (WATCH)

The enchanting allure of Universal Parks urges you to explore the eerie interior of the “Exorcist: Believer” haunted house, which serves as the focal point for the year-long Horror Unleashed attraction set to debut in Las Vegas’ AREA15 District this summer.

According to Nate Stevenson, the director of the installation, it closely follows the plot of the Blumhouse-produced film directed by David Gordon Green, and builds up to a thrilling scene where viewers will be part of the exorcism of not one, but two girls. During the exorcism sequence, a wall mysteriously vanishes to reveal a terrifying backdrop, offering a glimpse into the horrors these characters are battling against and their desperate attempts to escape.

The “Exorcist: Believer” experience is one out of four terrifying haunted houses. The other three are based on Universal’s famous collection of movie monsters: “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, and the fan-favorite “Scarecrow: The Reaping”.

According to T.J. Mannarino, Vice President of Entertainment Arts & Design, what sets us apart is our ability to tailor experiences specifically for each guest, which is an unprecedented offering they’ve never encountered before.

In addition to its array of haunted houses, Horror Unleashed showcases four distinct “immersive zones.” One such zone is known as the Prop Graveyard. According to the official description, in this area, the boundary between lifeless and living objects becomes unclear as visitors encounter an eerie assortment of unsettling dolls, dismembered mannequins, and other haunted items from abandoned movie sets that appear to move as guests pass by.

Visitors can relax after a frightening experience at the atmospheric Premiere House, a tapas bar decorated with movie props and unique decor reminiscent of Blumhouse’s latest horror films in collaboration with Universal Pictures. It’s an ideal setting to savor Premiere’s specialty cocktails and appetizers.
