To unlock this mystery, I discovered that progression through the game’s intricate narrative was essential – reaching a pivotal moment in the storyline would finally grant me access to what lay beyond.
Until later in the game, the door in the showcase room at the rear of the airship will remain out of reach. Once you’ve accomplished the main objectives at Quinta Matos, you’ll find yourself back on the Morning Star for a third visit.
During your current trip, you’ll be required to rewire four antennas located on the ship’s outer surface. These antennas are in close proximity to potentially harmful lightning storms, so utilizing the Double Dodge ability from the Combat skillset can prove beneficial for swiftly avoiding these perils while completing the antenna rewiring task.
After adjusting the antennas, you’ll gain entry into the ship through a freshly opened back door.
