Unfortunately, society frequently perceives this as a disorder rather than a unique trait. While it might seem advantageous for those with high intelligence, this isn’t always the case.
In its initial season, the series High Priority provided viewers with episodes that creatively adapted their format, making Morgan’s extensive knowledge the pivotal element in every investigation. Simultaneously, it emphasized her personal struggle with not having all the answers, a trait that Olson effectively portrayed as highly relatable when dealing with the unknown.
Additionally, she addressed the challenges that neurodivergent individuals often face, which can originate either internally or externally.
Inside there lies a complex world, and it’s likely to be isolating and confusing for many, as people might feel misunderstood. Those who are less intelligent or have lower IQs may harbor feelings of jealousy and attempt to compensate by belittling or criticizing others. People are complex individuals, and I wanted Morgan to be seen as multi-dimensional, not just intelligent but with depth and diversity.
Even though Morgan is renowned for having three adorable kids on TV, it doesn’t necessarily mean her real life is perfect…quite the contrary! However, there’s an abundance of joy and positive vibes in her existence. Interestingly, Olson hinted that Season 2 might delve more profoundly into the challenges that Morgan’s son Elliot encounters as a gifted student, potentially shedding light on contrasting experiences compared to his sister Ava’s life.
