UTA partner and chief communications officer Richard Siklos is exiting the agency.
In a memo to the team, UTA’s CEO, Jeremy Zimmer, announced that Siklos is stepping down to explore fresh prospects. However, he will stay on temporarily to facilitate a smooth transition as the organization looks for a replacement.
For almost three years, Richard has reshaped the way we share UTA’s story on a global scale as we’ve ventured into new business sectors and extended our presence to the UK and Europe. He played a crucial role in guiding us through an exceptional period of change for UTA, managing our communication strategy during numerous acquisitions, launches, crises, and executive appointments. He enhanced our connections with influential media outlets, improved our communications team, and boosted how we share our stories and acknowledge our numerous successes – both within the organization and publicly.
Previously employed at Time Warner’s communication department and subsequently held the position of Vice President of Communications at Netflix until his departure in 2021, Siklos then moved on to join United Talent Agency (UTA) the very next year.
Siklos expressed his gratitude towards Jeremy Zimmer, David Kramer, and Jay Sures, acknowledging the remarkable achievements over the past three years. In a statement, he mentioned that he joined UTA at a crucial phase of its global expansion and development. He was fortunate to collaborate with an exceptional communications team. Although he’s moving on to pursue new opportunities, his admiration and inspiration for UTA’s partners, whose unwavering dedication, resilience, and passion for artists and artistry is limitless, remains undiminished.
