As per TopMob’s latest update, a sequel for this cherished movie is under development. Rumors are circulating that Varun Dhawan and Kartik Aaryan might take on the main characters, but an official announcement regarding these speculations has not been made yet.
It appears that Sajid Nadiadwala, who was the producer of the original Mujhse Shaadi Karogi directed by David Dhawan, is said to be supporting the upcoming sequel as well. As per a report in Mid-Day, Nadiadwala is keen on reintroducing the humor and chaos of the initial film, but with a fresh, contemporary twist.
Kartik Aaryan and Varun Dhawan, both recognized for their excellent comedic delivery, are rumored to be top choices for the principal parts. However, it’s important to note that the scripting process is still in its beginning stages, and the final casting decisions will not be made until Nadiadwala feels completely content with the script.
According to reports, Producer Sajid Nadiadwala is thinking about using three well-known, younger actors for the upcoming sequel. TopMob has shared that MSK 2 is in the process of being written, and whether it goes ahead or not depends on how the script turns out. If Nadiadwala likes the final version, he plans to proceed with casting; otherwise, the film might be postponed. The plan, as a source mentioned, is to create another comedy of errors featuring a trio of main characters.
