It’s no secret that the world’s latest theme park, Epic Universe, has everyone buzzing with anticipation. With all the information available about it, it’s easy to understand why enthusiasm is running high. Although Universal Orlando Resort’s new park isn’t officially open to the public just yet, it has been conducting technical rehearsals and offering sneak peeks to employees, media, and Annual Passholders. I was thrilled to get a sneak peek at Epic Universe myself, but it seems that some of those who have recently visited the park are overly enthusiastic.
Recently, a video has spread like wildfire, capturing the excitement of folks rushing towards a brand-new park as soon as it opens, essentially sprinting to reach their initial destination for the day. Give it a watch!
It seems that almost everyone in this throng appears to be heading towards Super Nintendo World. However, it’s important to note that there are other significant attractions that are equally exciting. The Monsters Unchained dark ride in Dark Universe and the Ministry of Magic attraction have generated a lot of positive buzz. In my opinion, one of these two is undeniably the best attraction at Epic Universe, having experienced them all myself. To be honest, there’s no ‘bad’ spot to visit within Epic Universe.
To put it simply, I’m not surprised that many theme park enthusiasts aren’t overly excited about this recent exhibit. After all, anything that occurs in a theme park has the potential to irritate someone who claims to be a fan. The original video has garnered quite a few comments from those upset over people running around, which is against the established rules. Remarks such as…
- This is ridiculous. This only causes safety issues for the Team Members and other guests. Please just walk yall!
- The annoying people have arrived to the park. Y are they running?
- Don’t understand the running…I went to the park during AP Previews and most of the wait times were incredibly manageable all day.
- This annoy anyone else or just me? Hahaha
I’d certainly agree that running through a theme park can pose safety concerns for both participants and onlookers, and it’s best to avoid such behavior. Every morning at theme parks worldwide, guests are seen dashing towards their favorite rides at the crack of dawn, often referred to as “rope drop”. Although they might not be technically running, many guests come close to that line, moving swiftly to secure a spot on their desired ride.
Additionally, it’s worth noting that there aren’t many individuals featured in this video. Given that Epic Universe is planning to open to the public, it’s reasonable to expect a much larger crowd in any future videos. At this point, it might be an opportune moment for people to explore the park. After all, no one in this footage seems to have been arrested at Epic Universe.
