Video Shows Kimberly Burch Jumping From ’80s Cruise; Faster Pussycat Performances Canceled Onboard

According to a source, a video depicts Kimberly Burch leaping off the ’80s Cruise. Earlier this week, it seems that Burch may have intentionally jumped from the Royal Caribbean vessel; however, the exact circumstances are not entirely clear. The footage from the ship suggests that she jumped rather than fell.

The Explorer of the Seas, operated by Royal Caribbean, is legally based in the Bahamas, which means local authorities in Nassau have jurisdiction. They boarded the ship to investigate an incident and found no evidence against Taime Downe, lead singer of Faster Pussycat. As a result, the band’s performances planned for Friday evening have been canceled from the cruise’s schedule.

Based on a Facebook post by radio personality Riki Rachtman, who is friends with Downe and used to host MTV’s Headbangers Ball, there is reportedly video evidence of [Burch] taking his own life. Tamie was found not guilty of all charges related to the incident. Rachtman, who values Downe as his closest friend, has expressed displeasure towards social media users who claim to understand what transpired off the coast of the Bahamas that fateful night, suggesting they are offering unfounded opinions.

Rachtman went on to say: “How’s Taime holding up? Given the circumstances, I imagine it’s been tough on him. The woman he’s deeply in love with, whom he’s lived with for eight years, took her own life right before him. It’s heartbreaking to think about Kimberly, enduring such unimaginable pain that led her to take her own life. I want to stress that Taime is completely innocent, but this tragic event will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on him for the rest of his days.

Speaking from my gaming perspective, “I’m not really keeping up with the latest news and updates.” (I’ve attempted to contact the Nassau police and Royal Caribbean for their insights on this matter.)

I was part of a nostalgic cruise trip, jam-packed with legendary acts like Squeeze, Adam Ant, Tiffany, Men at Work, Faster Pussycat, and Downe. Unfortunately, during this journey, there was an incident involving me and Downe. My mom, Carnell Burch, shared with TMZ that I allegedly fell off the ship after a heated argument with Downe; however, the details are still unclear if it was an accident or not. My mom has emphasized that I wouldn’t have intentionally harmed myself. Rachtman described my relationship with Downe as “extremely toxic.

Earlier reports indicated to THR that the voyage persisted following the occurrence, with the US Coast Guard assuming control of the rescue mission.

This week-long voyage, departing from Miami, makes stops at Nassau, San Juan, and Puerto Plata before returning.
