Viral Warzone streamer proves not everyone is hacking

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that encountering hackers in Warzone has become as inevitable as death and taxes. From aimbots to invisibility cloaks, RICOCHET’s net seems to have its gaps, allowing these cheaters into our lobbies and onto our killcams.

In Warzone, we’ve all encountered hackers at some point, and it seems unavoidable now. It could be a player using an obvious aimbot, spinning rapidly while firing bullets across the map, or the old invisibility glitch in Verdansk. Essentially, RICOCHET may have allowed such a player to bypass its defenses, join your game lobby, and even appear on your killcam.

However, it’s possible that the individual accused of hacking wasn’t genuinely cheating, but rather benefiting from good fortune or strategic insights. In such instances, we’ve still taken action and reported these players.

One Warzone streamer has gone viral for proving that not everyone who is better than you is hacking, as there are multiple features in Warzone that help you get the better of your enemy without relying on just gun skills.

Streamer “Expel” is trending following a video where he appears to be “hacking” in Warzone, though it’s his opponents who allege that he’s utilizing unauthorized software or tricks. The controversy stems from an instance where “Expel” allegedly shot an opponent through a boarded-up window.

In my own words, as a passionate gamer: “Why must you act like a troublesome software?” said the defeated opponent. Yet, I assure you, I was not employing any unfair tactics. Instead of eliminating you to advance, I opted to enlighten you through proximity chat, hoping to help you improve your gameplay.

The game gives the player an option for self-resurrection, and by employing Combat Scout, Expel was able to detect enemies even behind walls due to its pinging feature. Upon scoring his initial shot (he had a general idea of the player’s position thanks to Heartbeat sensor scan), this enabled him to shoot with precision through the wall.

Nevertheless, the adversary found it hard to comprehend that the streamer already knew his initial location due to the Combat Scout ability and ended up looking embarrassed when Expel placed his sensor, accidentally causing it to fall to the ground. A clear expression of disappointment ensued.

The lesson here is clear: Warzone features perks similar to wallhacks, allowing players to identify enemy locations by seeing through obstacles. In the future, it would be wise to scrutinize killcam footage more thoroughly before making accusations of hacking.
