Vivek Oberoi Birthday: When actor showed his movie Prince to his son and he said ‘How could you kiss someone who’s not...’

As a lifestyle expert reflecting on the journey of Vivek Oberoi, I am truly inspired by the versatility and resilience he has demonstrated throughout his career. His ability to seamlessly transition between different genres and characters is a testament to his talent and dedication.

On September 3, 2024, the multitalented actor Vivek Oberoi turns 48. Renowned for his powerful acting skills and commanding screen presence, Oberoi has made a unique mark in Bollywood with a career that extends over two decades. His performances in numerous films have left lasting impressions on audiences. As we celebrate his birthday, let’s reminisce about an amusing anecdote involving his son watching one of his movies and remarking, “Why did you kiss someone who isn’t mom?”

In a past conversation with Etimes, Vivek revealed that his son, Vivaan, was drawn to Prince because of his fondness for action sequences. On the other hand, his daughter, Ameyaa, began to lose interest midway through, finding the abundance of action scenes overwhelming. Notably, Vivek stated that while Vivaan enjoyed the entire movie, there was one particular section he disliked.

In a conversation, Vivaan expressed disapproval when he saw a particular scene in which his father, Vivek, was kissing one of his co-stars. He questioned why Vivek would kiss someone who wasn’t his mother, showing strong loyalty to her by stating that such actions should not occur. This left Vivek speechless and surprised.

Smiling as he recalled the incident, Vivek clarified that he had merely been pretending and hadn’t meant what he said in a literal sense. However, Vivaan disagreed vehemently, stating, “No, dad, it’s not right, it’s not cool!” He then looked towards his mother, Priyanka, and questioned, “Is this alright with you, mom?”

Known for films such as Company, Saathiya, Omkara, and Shootout at Lokhandwala, among others, Oberoi is highly regarded for his adaptability in various genres and roles. His talent has gained him both critical recognition and a loyal audience. In a previous interview, the actor from Krrish 3 revealed that he delved into business prior to acting. At just 15 years old, he started a small enterprise with the Rs 500 his father, Suresh Oberoi, provided him.

Following a scolding from his father over his careless spending habits, he chose to become financially independent. To achieve this, he took up voiceover jobs and hosted various events as a means of funding his educational costs, which included paying for tuition fees and transportation like tea breaks and rickshaw fares.

Currently, in professional endeavors, Oberoi has recently appeared in Rohit Shetty’s production titled “Indian Police Force,” alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty Kundra. His portrayal earned him an overwhelming amount of affection and accolades from the audience.
