Following the unveiling of its Fall/Winter 2025 collection at Paris Fashion Week, Vowels is charging forward into 2025, revealing its Spring/Summer 2025 lineup now. Drawing inspiration from Yuki Yagi’s vast library of over 2,000 books and periodicals, Vowels consistently reinvent itself with each new collection of clothing. For Spring/Summer 2025, Vowels is focusing on refining its staple garments, aiming to elevate everyday wear into more refined, upscale styles.
Following the principle of creating items that harmonize with all your existing outfits while enabling you to maintain your pace, Yagi infuses the spirit of self-expression and authenticity characteristic of modern fashion icons across his ready-to-wear collection.
Yagi creatively explores and transforms the shapes of traditional vowels, playing around with silhouettes and shaping, as well as technical aspects and graphic design. Inspired by ancient Japanese prints found in archives, Yagi incorporates both overt and subtle influences into graphics and tailored items, such as outerwear embellished with floral patterns and cardigans accentuated with contrasting pockets and graphic t-shirts featuring historical pottery imagery from Peru, Greece, and Britain.
In this collection, simple and streamlined shapes are most prominent. Once more, Vowels showcases its take on the college-inspired look across crewnecks and pullovers.
