Walker Golf Things x adidas Was Made In Sydney

As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for both skateboarding and golf, I must say this collaboration between Walker Golf Things and adidas has me absolutely buzzing! Growing up, I was always fascinated by the fusion of sports cultures, and this collection perfectly embodies that spirit.

Walker Golf Things, an Australian golf brand known for blending skate and workwear aesthetics into traditional golf attire, has historically maintained a cordial relationship with adidas. Jack Fardell, the brand’s founder who is both a professional skateboarder and passionate golfer, has been associated with adidas Skateboarding since 2015. This connection has often led to events in partnership with the Three Stripes. However, beyond a line of jointly designed Samba Golf shoes for personal use, the two brands haven’t officially collaborated…until today.

The five piece capsule collection centers around a collaborative adidas MC-Z Traxion, a silhouette that the German giants launched earlier this year. Similar to the MC80 that was unveiled in 2023 as a collaboration with Bogey Boys, the MC-Z Traxion draws from the adidas catalog of retro golf shoes and features modern performance updates such as a BOOST heel and Lightstrike cushioning. Walker put its own spin on the shoe by adding crocodile textured leather on the saddle section, its Kooka emblem on the heel and a “W” logo on the outsole.

Completing the set – captured in Sydney Harbour alongside Tame Impala member Cameron Avery, a fellow Australian – includes a polo shirt with centered logos, a quilted hoodie, and a pleated golf skirt. Prices vary from $65 to $180 USD, and these items are now available on the Walker Golf Things’ website.
