As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I must say that this year’s Gamescom has been a rollercoaster of surprises, especially for Warframe enthusiasts like myself. It feels like just yesterday when I first dipped my toes into the world of Tenno, and now we have not one, but multiple exciting updates on the horizon!

It appears that just a short while ago, we were discussing Gamescom, and indeed we were, but due to an abundance of updates, some details managed to escape our attention. One such game that deserves another look is the popular action RPG Warframe. Exciting developments for its upcoming year have been announced.

One interesting piece of news: The name of their upcoming season (or autumn to those in the UK) has been revealed – it’s called Koumei & The Five Fates. Drawing inspiration from Japanese culture, this update introduces a brand-new Warframe and a thunder god-themed skin for Volt, among other exciting features. The complete unveiling of this update will happen at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 towards late September.

As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that the 58th Warframe will make its debut alongside Warframe: 1999 featuring Cyte-09! We were also treated to a sneak peek of Soulframe spin-off, and a tantalizing teaser for the upcoming Warframe: 1999 anime short from esteemed studio THE LINE. And here’s something exciting to look forward to: the next wave of Nightwave Rewards will drop on September 3rd!


A frame job

As a die-hard fan, I never imagined that the captivating world of Warframe would grace mobile devices. Yet, here we are, and it feels like a whirlwind of excitement as I’m bombarded with information usually gathered gradually over time: Tennocon, new skins, and an impending expansion titled Warframe: 1999! Just months after its release, the gaming community finds itself inundated with an abundance of content – a true treasure trove indeed.
