Warner Bros. Shakeup: Marketing Head Josh Goldstine, International Distribution Boss Andrew Cripps Stepping Down

At Warner Bros., the roles of Marketing Chief, held by Josh Goldstine, and President of International Distribution, currently occupied by Andrew Cripps, will be vacated as they are resigning from their positions.

Goldstine and Cripps notified their teams via internal communications about a significant change. In a separate memo, executives Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy disclosed that for the sake of future growth, they are reorganizing the business with a single global operation as its core. This restructuring means that team members will experience greater unity in the coming years. Consequently, Josh Goldstine and Andrew Cripps will be leaving their positions at the studio following this new setup.

Longtime studio professional Jeff Goldstein has been assigned to manage global theater showcase initiatives. In his absence, Dana Nussbaum and Christian Davin will temporarily take over these responsibilities. Meanwhile, John Stanford, who is currently Executive Vice President of Creative Advertising, will serve as the interim head for this department.

Since 2021, Goldstine has been employed by the studio, having previously served as Universal’s top marketing executive and providing consulting services from outside. (Goldstine parted ways with Uni following an inquiry into claims of unprofessional behavior, but subsequently received a significant compensation through arbitration.) This high-profile executive was instrumental in the successful marketing campaign for the box office hit “Barbie“, which encompassed a global tour and numerous promotional collaborations.

Warners had no further comment on the exits.

Read the memos from Goldstine, Cripps, and De Luca and Abdy below.
