As a dedicated gamer with countless hours invested in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Warzone, I must say the recent issues with hit registration, visual bugs, and now stealth helicopter crashes are becoming quite the headache. It’s as if we’re playing a game of paintball instead of the tactical shooter we know and love!
Currently, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is experiencing problems with bullet hits not registering correctly and some gory graphical glitches that give the impression of using paintball guns instead of standard weapons.
As a dedicated fan, I’ve been grappling with the troubles plaguing Black Ops 6 and Warzone, issues that are spoiling countless gaming experiences for me and others. Recently, while engaged in Warzone, I stumbled upon a more profound (yet silent) predicament: a helicopter crashed behind me without any discernible alerts, instantaneously hurling me back to the gulag.
Originally posted by Redditor u/RozzaRitch, they were firing from a rooftop at their foes beneath, oblivious to the approach of a colossal airship overhead. All of a sudden, the very airship they had not heard descending crashed down upon them.
Due to an unforeseen stealth helicopter, they met their end and were taken to a prison camp (gulag). Later, upon reviewing a recording (kill cam), it was revealed that the helicopter had been quietly hovering above their building before the pilot descended and caused the user u/RozzaRitch’s downfall.
Although the video was both amusingly aggravating, numerous Warzone enthusiasts expressed similar feelings regarding audio issues within the game. A Reddit user even pointed out that they frequently encounter enemies approaching from behind undetected due to an absence of discernible footstep sounds.
In Black Ops 6, there’s a Ninja perk, but not an equivalent one in Warzone, leading us to suspect that the stealth helicopter crash might be due to genuine in-game glitches. Treyarch and Raven Software have acknowledged visual bugs and hit registration issues, but they haven’t yet confirmed whether audio problems are also present in Warzone.
As the Call of Duty League is set to begin shortly, Activision faces significant challenges that have been plaguing the game. It would be unfortunate if events like the Challenger Cups were forfeited due to problems such as not being able to hear opponents or shooting non-lethal projectiles instead of bullets.
