Vihaan Samat is causing quite a stir in the streaming world with ventures such as “Call Me Bae”, “CTRL”, and most recently “The Royals”. In the comedy-drama series “Call Me Bae”, he portrayed the husband of Ananya Panday’s character. Lately, the actor has spoken up about speculation surrounding his character being gay.
During a conversation with Mid-Day, Vihaan Samat addressed the fan speculations suggesting his character had feelings for Ananya Panday’s onscreen brother in “Call Me Bae”. He expressed that he didn’t comprehend these theories and found them amusing since they were unexpected. He added that the cast, including himself, found these assumptions a bit puzzling but also thought they were entertaining. Essentially, he acknowledged that whatever generated interest among viewers, was probably the case.
Instead, Vihaan remarked, “On the other hand, I believe Agastya is quite straightforward. I imagine he expresses his masculinity in numerous ways, perhaps even humorously.
In the final episode of “Call Me Bae,” Agastya, played by Vihaan’s character, makes a dramatic return to win back the heart of his love. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see where their story goes in the upcoming second season.
