“My son Aarav has chosen to attend university in London, leaving our home at the age of 15. His enthusiasm for learning and desire for independence led him to make this move, even though I wished he could stay. As someone who left home at the tender age of 14 myself, I understood his yearning for autonomy. He handles his own laundry, cooks well, takes care of household chores, and prefers thrift stores like Thrifty over expensive boutiques due to his dislike of waste.”
In the year 2002, Akshay and Twinkle became parents for the first time, welcoming their son, Aarav. Their second child, a daughter named Nitara, joined the family in 2012.
