As a die-hard fan who has followed Billie Eilish’s meteoric rise since her debut, witnessing her close the 2024 Paris Olympics was nothing short of exhilarating! From her early days on Vine to her groundbreaking Grammy wins, I’ve been there every step of the way. Her performance of “Birds of a Feather” was a testament to her unique artistry and undeniable talent.
Billie Eilish was part of an impressive lineup of artists chosen to conclude the 2024 Paris Olympics. After the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ performance, she sang “Birds of a Feather” as her number.
The track is from Eilish’s third studio album titled “HIT ME HARD AND SOFT“, which she plans to tour starting next month. This album, released in May, saw all its ten singles enter the Billboard Hot 100.
At a special event in Los Angeles, Billie Eilish’s performance during the ceremony was conducted live on a beach. This was a significant part of the transition process, known as the “handover,” between France and the United States, leading up to the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
On stage alongside her was her sibling, Finneas, strumming an acoustic guitar. Notably, Finneas has revealed that he will be releasing his second album titled “For Cryin’ Out Loud!” in October.
