As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of people’s journeys, I find Mamta Kulkarni’s emotional return to India after 25 years truly captivating. Her story is a testament to resilience, reinvention, and the power of coming home.
Actress Mamta Kulkarni, who starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in the film Karan Arjun, emotionally returned to India after 25 years. She shared a heartfelt video on Instagram showing her teary-eyed and emotional upon her arrival back home.
In a video posted by Mamta Kulkarni, she conveyed her feelings upon returning to India after a gap of 25 years. She mentioned that she had recently landed in Mumbai and was experiencing a wave of nostalgia as it reminded her of the time she left India in the year 2000. Overwhelmed by this return in 2024, she expressed her emotions vividly.
The actress who played Karan Arjun shared that she felt emotional as the plane was preparing to touch down, since it was the first time in 24 years she had viewed her homeland from above. Tears welled up when she exited the international Mumbai airport, overwhelmed by the emotion of her homecoming.

The text says, “I returned to my homeland after a 25-year absence, attended the Kumbh Mela in 2012 following a 12-year period of dedication, and will be back again exactly 12 years later for the Maha Kumbh Mela in 2025.
In case you didn’t know, on April 12, 2016, Thane Police stopped two vehicles and found that the travelers were carrying around 2-3 kilograms of Ephedrine powder. This substance falls under the category of controlled substances according to the Narcotics Act.
In this incident, Mayur and Sagar were taken into custody, and the seized drugs are estimated to be worth more than eight million rupees. It was discovered that they had fabricated identification documents from a pharmaceutical firm on their person.
As the investigation unfolded, 10 individuals were arrested, while seven, including Mamta Kulkarni, were declared wanted.
It’s said that the police claim Kulkarni participated in a gathering with one of the suspects, Vicky Goswami, and others in Kenya during January 2016. This participation was allegedly corroborated by another accused, Jain, who was present at the meeting.
Through her attorney, Madhav Thorat, Kulkarni argued that the allegations against her were solely dependent on the testimony of a fellow defendant and contained no substantial proof.
Following an examination of the accusations and proof, the court determined that there wasn’t enough information available to uphold allegations against her based on the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Particularly in terms of drug usage (as stated in Section 8(c)) and the authority of the Central Government (as mentioned in Section 9(a)).
