As a long-time admirer of the Kapoor family dynasty, it was both heartwarming and intriguing to witness their latest milestone – Aadar Jain’s roka ceremony with his lovely partner Alekha Advani. Having grown up watching Karisma Kapoor grace the silver screen, it was a delight to see her looking resplendent in that navy blue anarkali, despite a minor stumble on the way.
On a chilly Saturday, November 23, 2024, I found myself standing at the threshold of an unforgettable moment – my beloved Karisma Kapoor’s cousin Aadar Jain’s roka ceremony in bustling Mumbai. As I eagerly awaited her arrival, my heart pounded with excitement.
Contrary to her wish, the video from that instance has become widely known on the internet. Karisma Kapoor was radiantly beautiful in a navy blue anarkali adorned with intricate embroidery. As she stepped out of the car at Aadar’s residence, she momentarily lost balance but promptly regained it, avoiding a fall.

After pausing, Lolo took time to pose for the excited photographers who had spotted her. Upon entering the venue, she addressed the photographers, requesting them to refrain from sharing the video of her stumble, as she said, “Don’t post it now.” (In Hindi: Woh abhi akele mat daalna.)
On the same day, the Kapoor family assembled for Aadar Jain’s roka ceremony with his girlfriend, Alekha Advani. Dressed in white, the couple gracefully exited and struck poses for photographers. Notably, the future groom also danced to the rhythm of the dhol alongside his brother.
Aditya was quite striking in a beautifully adorned sherwani of cream hue, accompanied by pants of the same color. Contrastingly, Alina Advani radiated charm in a pristine white sari, featuring a blouse bedecked with pearls.
She adorned herself with multiple strands of pearl necklaces, earrings featuring both pearls and diamonds, and eye-catching bracelets, which beautifully accentuated her hand decorations with henna. The strong bond between them was palpable as they shared tender glances and embraced tightly during the photo sessions, standing close while the photographers captured their special moment together.
At the event, not only was Kareena Kapoor Khan present, but also other relatives such as Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Armaan Jain, Randhir Kapoor, and Babita. They all appeared quite stylish.
On September 1, 2024, Aadar Jain announced on social media that he had popped the question to Alekha in a heartfelt, romantic setting.
Previously, Aadar was involved in a long-term relationship with actress Tara Sutaria which lasted for around three years, however, they decided to go their separate ways in the year 2023. Later that same year, Aadar made it official by announcing his relationship with Alekha on Instagram.
As a die-hard fan, it’s noteworthy to mention the fascinating bond between Alekha and Tara, who used to be inseparable. In the enchanting city of Paris during our 2022 adventure with Aadar and Tara, I, myself, had the privilege of sharing the journey with Alekha, making it an even more unforgettable experience.
