The 29th season of ‘The Bachelor’ has concluded, with Grant Ellis proposing at the end of a three-hour finale, signaling that it’s now time for ‘Bachelor in Paradise’. This summer, the beachy spinoff is set to return, and following a major twist reveal, I started pondering about who might be joining the cast. It seems I’m not alone in this thought, as Wells Adams’ thoughts on casting leads for ‘BiP’ are being widely discussed, and it never crossed my mind before that he would consider this perspective.
Season 10 of “Bachelor in Paradise” is scheduled to air on television during summer 2025, following a year-long hiatus in 2024. With a new person in charge this time, there might be significant alterations in the show’s location and structure. It remains uncertain if Wells Adams will reprise his role as bartender, but if he does, I imagine he’d be eager to see some past stars from the dating shows, as he hinted on the “Lightweights” podcast before Season 9.
In this particular season of Paradise, we’ve welcomed more bachelorettes than any other season before, which is quite intriguing. It amuses me greatly that our leads have transitioned from being the main attraction to a place where they are no longer the center of attention.
It’s quite intriguing, isn’t it? This perspective rings true since it’s not common for someone who hosts their own show to then join the cast of Paradise. However, it’s an exception that has been made for two individuals from The Bachelorette. Becca Kufrin was a part of Season 7, while Rachel Recchia was featured on the challenging ninth season of Bachelor in Paradise.
It seems like quite a change, transitioning from having numerous individuals vying for your affection to finding yourself among many others seeking to pair up together. From the perspective of an observer, such as a bartender watching the whirlwind of events unfold, it’s easy to understand how Wells Adams might find this situation amusing.
It would be intriguing to find out if and how the former contestant of Season 10 from The Traitors might adapt their viewpoint once more, should they come back to Bachelor in Paradise. With the arrival of the Golden cast members, the atmosphere on the beach could potentially take on a fresh, unique feel.
In the finale of Season 29 on “The Bachelor,” Jesse Palmer announced that Leslie Fhima, the runner-up from “The Golden Bachelor,” and Gary Levingston, a popular contestant from “The Golden Bachelorette,” have officially joined the cast for the summer spinoff. They will be joining Zoe McGrady, who was eliminated by Grant Ellis after Fantasy Suites, as well as Jonathon Johnson and Hakeem Moulton, who were previously eliminated on Jenn Tran’s season.
As a die-hard fan of ‘The Bachelor’, I can’t help but wonder who else from Bachelor Nation will join the five we currently have. There’s even a chance that some former leads might make an appearance. Rumors are swirling about Matt James potentially gracing our screens on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’, following his surprising split with Rachael Kirkconnell. And with Golden contestants now eligible, there’s Gerry Turner who could potentially be cast, given his divorce from Theresa Nist shortly after his season ended.
Apart from a few potential candidates, it seems there aren’t many others ready for a beach vacation. Still, I’m thrilled about the comeback of “Bachelor in Paradise.
