When Akshay Kumar put Karan Johar in tough spot for not counting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan among Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor Khan

As a lifestyle expert with a rich tapestry of experiences, I must say that Akshay Kumar’s career trajectory is nothing short of inspiring. His ability to maintain relevance and success over three decades, while working alongside some of Bollywood’s most iconic actresses, is truly commendable.

Over the course of more than 30 years in the film industry, Akshay Kumar has teamed up with numerous actresses such as Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, Juhi Chawla, and many others. Notably, he shared the screen with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Khakee (2004) and Action Replayy (2010). At one point, Akshay caused filmmaker Karan Johar some difficulty when he felt that Aishwarya was not included among Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, and Kareena Kapoor Khan as his co-stars.

During an appearance on the show “Koffee with Karan,” filmmaker Karan Johar posed a question to actor Akshay Kumar: “Who do you consider the most beautiful actress among Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, and Kareena Kapoor Khan?” In a swift exchange during a cut segment, Akshay inquired of Karan Johar, “Why wasn’t Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name mentioned? I won’t respond to that question.

Initially, Karan seemed deeply regrettful for omitting Aishwarya Rai from his list, whereas Akshay expressed curiosity about why Karan (KJO) had failed to include her name. This left the show’s host momentarily at a loss for words.

Akshay Kumar has teamed up with Deepika Padukone in Housefull and Chandni Chowk To China, while he has also joined forces with Kareena Kapoor on films such as Ra.One, Good Newwz, Kambakkht Ishq, Aitraaz, Tashan, and Gabbar Is Back.

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have starred in films such as “We Fell in Love”, “Greetings from London”, “Singh is King”, “Welcome”, “De Dana Dan”, “The Three Stooges of Crime”, and “Sooryavanshi”.

Previously, during an exclusive conversation with TopMob, Akshay Kumar expressed his thoughts on the comedy genre often being underestimated within Bollywood, suggesting that it deserves more serious consideration.

In our film industry, why do they underestimate comedy films so much? So far, I haven’t witnessed any instance where a comedy movie received the Best Film award, as stated by the actor from Khel Khel Mein.

Akshay Kumar will appear as a guest star in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming movie, “Singham Again.” Starring Ajay Devgn, this film is set to hit theaters on November 1, 2024, which happens to be during the festival of Diwali.

In the third installment of the Singham series, you’ll find actors like Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff joining the lineup. Arjun Kapoor has been cast as the villain in this movie.
