As a result, famous director Karan Johar brought them both onto his talk show, Koffee With Karan. On this entertaining and open-hearted chat, Alia Bhatt openly admitted that she admires Deepika’s physique and would like to have a body similar to hers.

During a fast-paced segment of the first episode, host Karan Johar asked Gangubai Kathiawadi actress Alia about a trait of her friend that she admires. In response, the award-winning actress Alia mentioned she’d love to have “her body, her legs, and her height.
She went on discussing something that’s typically observed in a new mother whenever she’s photographed by the media. Alia wondered aloud about this seemingly frequent occurrence and asked the actress from Fighter “How is it that each time you step out of the airport or are being photographed, it’s as if your hair is always flying and there’s a joke being made? Someone has come up with a witty remark, causing laughter. So, I often think ‘Who’s making these jokes? I’d love to walk alongside her.'” However, the new mother clarified, “No, you’re mistaken; that’s not me.
Initially, when Karan Johar posed a dilemma to the star of Piku, asking her to pick between babies and films, she humorously opted for both, saying “Babies during movies.” Indeed, years passed, and Deepika took pleasure in her pregnancy, continuing to act in movies even while expecting her first child. Recently, on September 8, Ranveer Singh and Deepika welcomed a baby girl. Interestingly, in an earlier conversation with News 18, actor Saswata Chatterjee, who worked alongside the new mother in Kalki 2898 AD, disclosed that she was pregnant while shooting the climactic scene of Nag Ashwin’s actioner.
He recalled the challenging scene when he dragged Deepika’s character SU-M80 (aka Sumathi) away by her hair. The veteran actor also mentioned that since DP was pregnant by then, this last leg of the shoot was done in Mumbai and Ranveer was there throughout the filming of the scene. Because he knew about the physically challenging scene and Padukone’s condition, he told her husband not to worry. To this, the new dad responded with a smile and said “I know, Dada.”
In terms of their professional lives, Deepika and Ranveer are set to appear together in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming movie, titled “Singham Again.
