When Katrina Kaif talked about her idea of ideal parenting for her children; ‘When I have kids…’

As a dedicated follower of Katrina Kaif‘s journey, I can’t help but admire her strength and intelligence that shine through in every role she plays, both on-screen and off. Her resilience, born out of a challenging upbringing with seven sisters and one brother under the care of a single mother, is truly inspiring.

Katrina Kaif is known for her strength and intelligence within Bollywood’s acting scene. She, along with seven sisters and a brother, grew up under the care of their single mother. In a past interview, Katrina emphasized the significance of having a male presence in her life. As such, she expressed her intention to provide her children with the opportunity to spend time with both parents.

During an interview with Filmfare in 2019, Katrina Kaif was asked about missing a strong male influence in her life due to her parents’ separation. In response, the actress candidly acknowledged, “Indeed, growing up without a father figure leaves a particular emptiness and makes any girl feel vulnerable. When I become a parent, I want my children to have the advantage of being with both parents.

She went on to say that when faced with difficult emotions, she often felt envious of individuals who had a strong paternal influence, someone who loved them without reservation. Unfortunately, this was not her experience.

In the course of their chat, the actress from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was inquired if she had ever sought robust male figures in her relationships, friendships, or professional associates like directors. Katrina, however, denied this practice, stating that one considers oneself fortunate to have genuine friends who can be relied upon.

To put it simply, my dearest confidants, the ones who truly know me, were privy to my deepest apprehensions and self-doubts. As for the roots of those feelings, I can’t help but trace them back to the aftermath of my parents’ divorce – a tumultuous event that occurred amidst my mother’s brood of eight, which included myself and my six sisters.

In the year 2021, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal exchanged marriage vows. Their private wedding celebration was held at a grand, destination-style wedding venue in Rajasthan.

On a career level, Katrina has chosen to proceed cautiously. Recently, she appeared in Sriram Raghavan’s film titled “Merry Christmas,” alongside Vijay Sethupathi. This movie, a mystery thriller, hit the screens earlier this year in January and was Katrina’s initial collaboration with both the actor and director. Both fans and critics have praised her performance in the film.

Furthermore, she’s set to appear in the upcoming road-trip movie “Jee Le Zaraa,” starring Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra. At this point, we’re still waiting for news regarding when they’ll start filming.
