Salman Khan‘s father and screenwriter Salim Khan is a revered figure in the Hindi film industry, renowned not only for his gift of storytelling but also for openly displaying his emotions. In a previous discussion, he frankly spoke about his struggles with anger and shared his desire to impart patience and anger management techniques to his kids.
Previously, during a chat on Zoom moderated by actress Pooja Bedi, Salim Khan was posed a question regarding a trait he desired his children to possess. In his reply, he emphasized the importance of cultivating “patience” and “skills in managing anger”.
He elaborated, “I believe anger can be beneficial when managed appropriately. Anger, much like a genetic trait, has been passed down to my kids as well. They will learn to master it because, when combined with alcohol, it becomes detrimental. If they struggle with alcohol, they should consider eliminating it from their lives.
In a 2012 interview with Live Mint, Salman Khan openly discussed his issues with anger and efforts to manage them. He candidly acknowledged that his aneurysm was partially caused by his angry outbursts. For Khan, anger doesn’t equate to physically attacking someone, but he recognized that his anger often manifests as a hot-tempered demeanor and rapidly escalating blood pressure.
He said that he gets angry when he perceives a situation as unfair and feels the need to act but finds himself unable to do so.
