During a chat with Faridoon Shahryar on his YouTube platform, Varinder Chawla recounted an event that transpired between 2022 and the unveiling of Pathaan. This anecdote involved one of his photographers accidentally capturing a personal moment involving Shah Rukh Khan and his loved ones before the film’s premiere.
Following Varinder’s removal of the recorded material, Shah Rukh Khan phoned him, expressing gratitude for his actions. The Dunki star clarified that he had been keeping a low profile with the press because of Aryan Khan’s situation, indicating that he was made aware the video had been erased. Furthermore, Khan explained that he hadn’t intended to shun the media, but as a father, he found the biased representations in the news coverage particularly distressing.
Varinder shared that their call lasted roughly 3 to 5 minutes, and in that brief span, he empathized with Shah Rukh’s emotions. He observed that Shah Rukh’s tone on the phone mirrored the distress of a father confronting his son’s unjust accusations.
After that incident, Shah Rukh Khan has been seen frequently in various media outlets; however, his public appearances are not as numerous as they once were prior to this case.
