As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for celebrity insights, I must say that Shah Rukh Khan‘s journey from the streets of Delhi to Bollywood’s throne is nothing short of inspiring. His ability to maintain his humility and humor amidst stardom is truly commendable.
Star from Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, occasionally opens up about his private life in interviews, frequently discussing his spouse, Gauri Khan, and their kids. In one amusing instance, he revealed a peculiar habit: when they’re both in Delhi, SRK refers to Gauri as ‘bhabhi.’ His reasoning behind this habit is so comical that it’s sure to make you laugh out loud!
In a standout episode of The Kapil Sharma Show back in 2016, Shah Rukh Khan reminisced about an amusing incident from his childhood in Delhi. He shared a story where he found himself in a pickle with some rough characters due to him claiming a girl as his girlfriend.
In an amusing manner, the actor from Pathaan playfully described an encounter in Green Park with his partner. They were confronted by a boisterous group of young men, whom he jokingly labeled as ‘shode’, or idiots. He shared the story, saying that one of the boys approached him and inquired about the girl with him.
With a sense of assurance, he asserted that the woman in question was his girlfriend. However, it turned out that she was not a girlfriend at all, but rather his sister-in-law. Regrettably, this revelation led to him being involved in a fight and ultimately getting beaten up.
As I reminisce, I can’t help but recall the moments when I found it challenging to admit having a girlfriend. One of those moments stands out vividly; a friend playfully challenged me, and another threw a clay cup in my direction, narrowly missing my face. Now, whenever I’m out with my beloved wife in Delhi and someone enquires about her, my long-ingrained reflex is to refer to her as my sister-in-law – a habit born from that unforgettable incident.
He mentioned that he often accompanies his wife in Delhi, but when someone asks about her identity, he refers to her as his sister-in-law, out of fear.
In terms of his career, Shah Rukh Khan recently appeared in the movie Dunki (2023), directed by Rajkumar Hirani, alongside Taapsee Pannu. His next project is a high-octane action thriller called King, which is being led by Sujoy Ghosh. Interestingly, his daughter, Suhana Khan, will also feature in this film with him.
As a lifestyle aficionado, I’m thrilled to share that a film I’m involved with, produced by the talented Siddharth Anand, is slated for release in cinemas during Eid 2026. What adds an extra layer of excitement is my own anticipated cameo in “Stardom,” the highly-anticipated debut series from none other than Siddharth’s son, Aryan Khan. It’s a family affair filled with creativity and anticipation!
