Prior to the release of Dilwale on December 18, 2015, the production team shared a making-of video for the song Gerua on their official YouTube channel, Red Chillies Entertainment. This video offered a glimpse into the amusement and hardships experienced by the cast and crew, including Rohit Shetty and choreographer Farah Khan. It also included a segment where Kajol saved Shah Rukh Khan’s life.
During the interview, SRK confessed that it was Kajol, Ajay Devgn’s wife, who saved his life. In response, the actress from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham affirmed, “Yes, and if I hadn’t caught you just in time at the waterfall, you wouldn’t be here.” Grateful for her actions, SRK thanked her, to which she replied, “You owe me now.” When she said this, Shah Rukh smiled and responded, “I owe you my life. The love ballad “Gerua” was crafted by Pritam and sung by both Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra in the movie produced by Gauri Khan. Notably, four main actors take center stage, but they are ably assisted by a talented ensemble of performers including Pankaj Tripathi, Mukesh Tiwari, Varun Sharma, Boman Irani, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, and Johnny Lever.
In terms of work, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing to start filming for his new action film titled King. This project is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and features Suhana Khan as Shah Rukh’s apprentice.
