In the past, she candidly shared her belief that Shah Rukh Khan may not have wished to collaborate with her, despite her father Anil Kapoor reaching out on her behalf.
2016’s Filmfare interview featuring Sonam Kapoor remains fresh and engaging. During this chat, she was asked about her lack of collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan. In a laid-back manner, the actress expressed that she believes SRK may not be keen on working with her at present. “Plenty of chances have come my way… I’ve been eager to team up with him and even made attempts to connect, but those opportunities never materialized. It seems our collaboration will happen when Shah Rukh decides he wants to work together.
In another Bollywood Hungama interview, a fan questioned her about the lack of collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan in a movie. However, the young lady from the Kapoor family admitted that no such opportunity has been presented to her yet.
To expand on that, she mentioned, “Neither Shah Rukh Khan nor anyone associated with his projects has ever approached her with a movie offer. Perhaps it’s because I’m not the type of actress he prefers to collaborate with.
On a more personal note, the actor of The Zoya Factor is thriving in her marital bliss with her husband, Anand Ahuja. They are delightfully nurturing their son, Vayu, and their photos consistently portray a serene, idyllic atmosphere.
Lately, she celebrated her birthday party in Mumbai, welcoming not only members from the Kapoor family but also close colleagues from the entertainment industry. The guest list featured Kareena Kapoor Khan with Saif Ali Khan, Swara Bhasker, Masaba Gupta, Vedang Raina, Pernia Qureshi, Bhumi Pednekar, and many more individuals.
After giving birth to her son, Vayu, Sonam has been moving cautiously in her professional life. However, no official movies of hers have been declared as yet. Rumors suggest, though, that the actress may appear in a film called Battle for Bittora.
