Where Could A Stan Lee Cameo Fit In Agatha All Along? Kathryn Hahn And The Cast Have Perfect Suggestions

As a long-time Marvel fan and avid gamer who’s spent countless hours immersed in the rich tapestry of the MCU, I can’t help but miss Stan Lee’s delightful cameos. His appearances were always a highlight, adding a touch of magic to an already enchanting universe.

It’s almost unbelievable that it’s been close to six years since the passing of Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee. Fans have missed his extraordinary creativity, quick humor, and charming personality, as well as his iconic cameos in Marvel productions. One can only imagine how he might have made an appearance in Marvel Cinematic Universe projects following his demise. In the new show Agatha All Along, Sean O’Connell asked Kathryn Hahn and the cast about this possibility, and they came up with some brilliant ideas.

If only he could have been there, a part of Agatha’s historic portraits, his gaze following us wherever we went, ascending and descending the stairs. … And why did that thought suddenly cross my mind now? Indeed, such moments typify the quirks of my existence. … Alas, I should have thought of it earlier – it was ready to be used, but why wasn’t I thinking about it at the time?

Sean brought up the topic that fanfiction is always an option, and he asked showrunner Jac Schaeffer about it as well. When asked, the Executive Producer (EP) shared her thoughts on Episode 1’s “eat my ass, chief” line, which she believed might get cut. She struggled to come up with a way for Lee to make an appearance in the series, but Schaeffer did offer a humorous idea.

Surprisingly, might I suggest you hide near a tree? Just imagine jumping out and going “Boo!” It’s not something I’ve definitely planned, but it could be an amusing twist, if given proper consideration.

Jac Schaeffer’s series has elements that might startle viewers, making it potentially amusing if “Stan the Man” (the late comics writer) were to surprise the central witch or her coven by appearing unexpectedly behind a tree. However, producer Mary Livanos opted for a more realistic approach in her idea. Instead of suggesting he play a ghost-like character, she proposed that he could have a more grounded role in the story.

Wow, what an intriguing question! It’s as if a tired inhabitant of Westview, much like everyone else in this peculiar town, finds themselves puzzled and fatigued by the odd occurrences that keep happening around them.

It’s quite easy to visualize a situation where Stan Lee (in character) strolls past the remnants of Wanda Maximoff and Vision’s shared home, letting out a regretful “Oh, witch.” This scene could be enhanced if Agatha Harkness or a teenager were nearby when Lee’s character made this comment. In truth, there were numerous ways Stan Lee could have appeared on the show had he still been alive, and it’s enjoyable to ponder these possibilities.

Prior to his passing, Stan Lee expressed great joy in his cameos, stating they gave him the chance to act “for 12 seconds.” His small-screen roles were always captivating, and I’m thankful he found pleasure in performing them as much as we enjoyed watching them. As time progresses, I can’t help but wonder where Lee might have made an appearance in recently released or upcoming Marvel productions. To me, these cameos serve as a delightful way to keep his legacy vivid in my thoughts.

You’ll have the chance to watch fresh installments of “Agatha All Along” every Wednesday at 9 p.m. Eastern Time/6 p.m. Pacific Time if you have a Disney+ subscription. Additionally, don’t forget to explore the 2024 TV schedule for more chilling content set to air this autumn.
