Which Characters Should be in the Base Roster of Marvel Cosmic Invasion

Following the triumph of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge,” game developers Tribute Games are now ready to take on a new comic book franchise, namely Marvel’s “Cosmic Invasion.

What are the seven heroes among the total fifteen that have been unveiled in the upcoming game “Cosmic Invasion”, and who will be the remaining characters when the game officially releases later this year?

7/15 Characters Revealed

As per insider Miller Ross’s reports, a grand total of 15 characters are anticipated to be playable at the game’s launch. At present, only six characters – Spider-Man, Venom, Captain America, Nova, Wolverine, and Phyla-Vell – have been unveiled so far.

Fans are guessing which additional character might join the lineup as there are still 8 characters left to unveil in the upcoming game Cosmic Invasion.

Let Me Take You For a Ride

As a devoted fan, I’m excitedly anticipating that this game, with its nostalgic vibe, might draw inspiration from characters we’ve played before. Just like the iconic Konami X-Men arcade game, it could feature Wolverine and Storm, but there’s a strong possibility that it will also include other classic mutants such as Cyclops, Colossus, Nightcrawler, and Dazzler.

As a devoted gamer, I can’t help but notice the striking resemblance “Cosmic Invasion” bears to the thrilling battles in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. In this game, you get to control some iconic characters like Iron Man, War Machine, the mighty Hulk, Blackheart, the formidable Thanos, Shuma Gorath, and the cunning Doctor Doom.

Moreover, the X-Men are also present in this epic battle, with Magneto, Sabretooth, Gambit, Rogue, Ice Man, Juggernaut, Marrow, Spiral, Silver Samurai, Omega Red, Psylocke, and Cable all making an appearance. It’s a dream come true for any Marvel fan!

Additionally, Capcom developed a Marvel fighting game featuring The Punisher, who was joined by a playable Nick Fury.

Or simply:
Capcom created a Marvel beat-’em-up with The Punisher and a playable Nick Fury.

Both versions maintain the original meaning while sounding more natural and easy to read.

It’s quite possible that, given Nova and Phyla-Vell are fresh faces, we might see additional space-themed characters joining the roster. They could potentially incorporate popular Guardians of the Galaxy characters like Rocket and Groot, or even bring in Thor to maintain a strong Avengers presence within the game.

It’s interesting to mention that the primary antagonist of the game seems to be Annihulus, a notorious foe from the Fantastic Four universe. Perhaps a member of that team could potentially appear in the game.

If the developers dare to insert a Capcom character into the lineup, they certainly won’t miss the mark with beloved Street Fighter characters such as Ryu and Chun-li. In fact, Mega Man might also be a great addition to the roster.

More to Come

At present, fans can only engage in guessing or theorizing. While numerous characters hold great appeal for inclusion in the main roster, some might appear within the game as Non-Player Characters (NPCs).

In the preview, Army of Intelligence (AIM) troops were indeed present, implying that perhaps MODOK might assume a leadership role. Additionally, there’s a hint of Sentinels appearing in the mix, which could make things quite exciting.

Perhaps the game may incorporate both interstellar and urban perils, enabling players to confront characters like the Kingpin in one scene, only to join forces against cosmic adversaries such as Galactus in another. For now, all we can do is eagerly anticipate further details.

There’s no announced release date yet for the Marvel Cosmic Invasion, but we can expect it to come out across all significant platforms towards the end of this year.
