As a seasoned wrestling enthusiast and armchair detective, I find myself right at home amidst this intriguing mystery unfolding before our very eyes. The sudden disappearance of Jade Cargill from the Survivor Series War Games lineup has sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe, leaving us all to speculate on who could have possibly orchestrated such a dastardly deed.
After Rhea Ripley recovered from her injury, it appeared that the women’s teams for Survivor Series War Games had become quite clear. On one side, you would have Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, Naomi, Iyo Sky, and Rhea Ripley facing off against a heel team consisting of Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae. We even witnessed a tense standoff and a fight inside the ring, but then, in an unexpected twist, we saw Jade Cargill being shown smashing against a car windshield during the latest episode of Smackdown.
Later on, WWE disclosed that she had multiple injuries, and there’s no specific date set for her comeback. Unconfirmed whispers suggest that the plot might have been planned around an actual injury, but regardless, it seems Bayley will fill in for her during War Games. This scenario offers fans a puzzling case to unravel. Given my passion for wrestling and detective shows, this moment presents an excellent opportunity for me to showcase my skills.
I think there are three good suspects and a few more longshot suspects. So, let’s tackle them one-by-one.
Naomi
Initially, Naomi appears to be an unlikely suspect due to her genuine demeanor, which is one of the kindest in the entire roster, apart from perhaps Otis. She’s consistently shown good energy towards Bianca and Jade, forming a strong team at WrestleMania for a victorious performance. Furthermore, she has managed to maintain friendships even during challenging situations, particularly with Bayley.
However, following the widespread dissemination of a questionable photo of her among wrestling enthusiasts, she’s been vocalizing her defense to such an extent and in such an assertive manner that it’s now causing further suspicion. She even predicted her timeline would be filled with apologies once her name is exonerated. Yet, will this happen?
Although she’s quite close to both Bianca and Jade, it’s important to note that she seems to be the one not fully integrated into their partnership. In essence, she appears to be the additional member rather than an equal part of the friendship trio. The spotlight and opportunities seem to lean more towards Bianca and Jade compared to her. Additionally, she shares a close bond with Bayley, who has had past issues with Bianca.
Probability Estimate: There’s a 15% likelihood that it isn’t Naomi. While she can’t be entirely ruled out as a suspect, she seems to be among the least probable candidates based on current evidence. However, a solid argument could still be made for her being the culprit.
Bianca Belair
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but feel like an insider when it comes to the Jade and Bianca saga in the wrestling world. It’s clear to many of us that this story is building towards one of them betraying the other, leading to an epic showdown at WrestleMania.
It seems like you’re suggesting that Jade and Bianca will face off at WrestleMania, but based on current timelines, it appears to be premature. I had previously predicted they would hold onto their Tag Team Championships longer because breaking them up so soon seemed illogical. Instead of building tension with angry promos and interfering in each other’s matches for five months before the actual wrestling match, I believe they might keep their titles for a while longer.
It’s plausible that Jade might have to take a break for several months due to her injury, and if that happens, Bianca could emerge as a prime suspect. A confession from one of them around the time of the Royal Rumble could spark a fierce rivalry between them, which could last for a few months, culminating in a confrontation at WrestleMania.
Verdict: 25% Chance. I don’t think it’s Bianca. I think there are better ways to do a break-up than this, but if Jade is injured for real and they needed to write her off TV quickly while laying the groundwork for the Bianca feud when she returns, then it’s a possibility they improved to this.
Bayley
During the earlier part of this year, Bayley experienced an unparalleled streak in her career, culminating with her victory at The Royal Rumble, betraying Damage CTRL, and capturing The WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40. At the time of her championship win, she was arguably one of the most popular stars across the entire roster. However, the past six months haven’t been as fruitful for her. Although she hasn’t made any mistakes, none of her storylines have gained traction, and her momentum has dwindled. It seems like a change is necessary for her.
By antagonizing Jade and resuming her villainous role, it could potentially be a catalyst for change in her character. This move would align well with her long-standing issues with Bianca on screen, and would directly benefit her by securing a spot in the War Games match. Given her history of animosity towards Iyo Sky, it seems unlikely that she’d appreciate being teamed up with her for this event.
Prediction: This situation seems highly plausible. It aligns well with the characters’ growth and provides an intriguing plot twist. If Bayley were to take on this new challenge, it would offer her fresh opportunities, while also opening up various possibilities for WWE in the future.
Other Possible Suspects
It’s usually the villains in WWE who launch attacks during Raw or SmackDown matches, a storyline tactic that has been a cornerstone of wrestling for decades. However, when it seems like an obvious choice, the show often reveals it right away to create tension or an injury angle. So, it didn’t surprise me when Nia attacked Jade before their match, similar to Liv Morgan’s underhanded tactics. I’m worried that Candice might have injured Jade’s knee during the attack. Even though all the villains in the War Games match (Nia, Tiffany, Candice, Liv, and Raquel) could potentially be suspects, I don’t think it was any of them this time around.
As someone who has been following WWE for quite some time now, I must say that there is a lot of buzz surrounding the women’s division, and I can’t help but get excited about the potential newcomers to the main roster. From what I’ve seen in NXT, Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia have been making waves with their impressive performances, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw them on the main roster soon. Additionally, there are rumors swirling about Jordynne Grace from TNA potentially joining WWE in 2025, which is something I would definitely keep an eye out for. All three of these women have the talent and charisma to step into the main event scene immediately and start a feud with Jade, who has been making waves as well. There’s also the possibility that Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson could be in the running for a spot on the main roster, considering they’ve recently feuded with Jade and Bianca for the tag titles. I’m excited to see what the future holds for these talented women and can’t wait to see who will step up and take on Jade in a main event feud.
Prospects: There’s a 10% likelihood that these options could hold some merit. While I’m not fully committed to any of them individually, the combined potential is significant enough to warrant further exploration.
