White Mountaineering and Uniqlo Unveil Recycled Jacket for FW24

White Mountaineering and Uniqlo Unveil Recycled Jacket for FW24

As a dedicated follower of sustainable fashion and a frequent adventurer, I can’t help but feel exhilarated by the latest collaboration between White Mountaineering and Uniqlo. The White Mountaineering x Uniqlo Recycled Down Jacket is not just a piece of clothing; it’s a testament to our shared commitment towards a greener planet.

Once more, White Mountaineering teams up with Uniqlo for their third joint endeavor, focusing on a down jacket crafted from reused materials. This environmentally friendly collaboration is an expansion of Uniqlo’s RE.UNIQLO initiative – a sustainable mission to prolong the life of clothing and foster a circular society by promoting recycling and resource conservation.

This jacket has been crafted entirely from repurposed down, previously used Uniqlo coats, along with recycled polyester filling in the sleeves. It’s designed to be gender-neutral and comes in three autumn hues – black, burgundy, and a warm charcoal shade. The diamond quilting pattern becomes progressively larger down the torso, contrasting with rectangular panels along the outer sleeves. Its minimalist, modern design makes it versatile; you can wear it as an inner layer under thicker winter clothing or on its own for mild winters.

The item harmoniously aligns with White Mountaineering’s FW24 collection, showcasing Autumn essentials given a modern outdoor twist by the Japanese brand. Previously, White Mountaineering and Uniqlo collaborated on a capsule launched in late-September, which offered a pair of pullover liners and hoodies with a fleece finish.

On this coming Friday, October 11th, the collaborative Recycled Down Jacket from White Mountaineering and Uniqlo will be available for purchase only through Uniqlo’s online store.
