WhiteBIT Achieves Highest Security Standards with CCSS certification

As a seasoned researcher with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the crypto industry, I must admit that WhiteBIT’s Level 3 CCSS certification has left me truly impressed. With years of experience under my belt, I’ve seen many platforms claim to prioritize security, but few have walked the talk like WhiteBIT.

WhiteBIT, a prominent cryptocurrency exchange, has made a remarkable stride by being the first platform to secure a Level 3 certification according to the Cryptocurrency Security Standard (CCSS). This achievement places WhiteBIT within the elite group of highly secure crypto exchanges that are well-respected in the industry.

The CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4) has released a new certification, which serves as an industry standard in the realm of cryptocurrencies. This certification aims to provide strong security measures for cryptocurrency systems.

WhiteBIT underwent a thorough security evaluation by Hacken, a trusted cybersecurity agency recognized by C4. This certification process involved a comprehensive examination of WhiteBIT’s entire security framework, as well as detailed checks on both its cold and hot wallet systems. Preparing for this audit took WhiteBIT three years, with a subsequent 2.5-month inspection that included numerous interviews with the team, totaling many hours.

The final report, containing 97 pages, reflects rigorous testing and hundreds of questions addressed throughout the process. This thorough auditing process ensures full compliance with the stringent requirements of CCSS Level 3.

Volodymyr Nosov, Owner and CEO of WhiteBIT, states, “This certification demonstrates our unwavering dedication to protecting the assets of our users.” In an industry where trust is continuously tested, we have adopted stringent security measures that are redefining standards for superior performance.

The CCSS certification enhances current Information and Communication Technology (ICT) security structures such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS by offering tailored advice on safeguarding cryptocurrencies. This certification consists of three tiers, with Level 3 serving as the top standard.

What we aim to achieve goes beyond fostering innovation; it’s also about establishing these innovations on a solid, secure base. The CCSS certification demonstrates our commitment to creating a safer environment for our massive international user community, which counts over 5.5 million members.” (Nosov stated)

This milestone enhances WhiteBIT’s credibility, moving them closer to widespread acceptance by emphasizing trustworthiness and openness. Notably, earlier in the year, they obtained the top tier of PCI DSS certification for safeguarding payment information.
