Following several weeks filled with affection, deceit, and nerve-wracking public ballots, we’ve reached the final chapter for Love Island USA Season 7: only four pairs remain. In Episode 34, there was a heartfelt reunion with each Islander’s family, as well as an unexpectedly harsh elimination that left viewers in shock.
Beneath the cheerful facades, a sense of unease was palpable: The outcome of America’s voting would soon disclose which pair hadn’t managed to win over enough hearts. As the episode drew to a close, one couple discovered that their villa romance had reached its end.
Families arrive, but the celebration doesn’t last long
As they approached the final episode, the five remaining Islander couples – Amaya and Bryan, Iris and Pepe, Huda and Chris, Olandria and Nic, and Chelley and Ace – were unexpectedly visited by their families. The families shared their honest thoughts about the relationships, either providing validation or expressing concerns.
During this part, there was a strong emotional response as various Islanders found themselves tearing up due to the reunions and the reassurances that helped them persevere. However, the happiness didn’t last long as anxiety soon set in. Ariana Madix, our host, then called everyone together for one last announcement before the winners could be revealed.
One couple, based on public votes, would be dumped from the island immediately.
Chelley and Ace eliminated before the finale
Although they had been together longer than many other pairs in the villa, unexpectedly, Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene were eliminated. Even though their romantic connection formed later compared to others, their unwavering loyalty and undeniable chemistry helped them endure numerous challenges and re-couplings.
Initially, many thought they would reach the final round. But unfortunately, America chose to eliminate them right before the finale, leaving them as the last pair sent home in Season 7. Now, only four pairs are left vying for the $100,000 top prize.
