Whoopi Goldberg Co-Founded All Women’s Sports Network, Pluto TV Launch FAST Channel

On Monday, the international sports television network focused on women’s sports, All Women’s Sports Network (AWSN), jointly established by Whoopi Goldberg and Jungo TV, announced a global content collaboration with Paramount Global’s free streaming TV service, Pluto TV.

The aim is to ensure that everyone worldwide can easily watch women’s sports. This is being accomplished through our FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channel, which is currently operational in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Nordic regions.

The exclusive Pluto TV channel by AWSN is scheduled to air a continuous 24/7 stream, offering more than 2,500 hours of live women’s sports every year. This will include a variety of on-demand content as well. The partners announced that viewers will have the chance to watch top competitions and leagues such as Athletes Unlimited Softball League, FIBA 3×3, FIBA 3XBA (a basketball series showcasing WNBA and NCAA talent), WNBL Basketball, H1 Field Hockey, WFA Tackle Football, ECC-W, Women’s European Cricket Championship, DGPT Pro Disc Golf Tour, WFTDA-sanctioned Roller Derby, and Women’s Football Weekly. This channel will feature highlights from Serie A Italy, Bundesliga, Division I Féminine (French Premier League), Barclays Women’s Championship, among others.

In Canada, the United Kingdom, and the Nordic regions, you can exclusively access the channel and all AWSN content through Pluto TV. From this month onwards, in addition to this, AWSN will broadcast Suncorp Super Netball matches from Australia as well.

Goldberg expressed his enthusiasm about AWSN expanding its reach to audiences nationwide on Pluto TV, not only within the U.S., but also into emerging global markets. For a long time, exceptional female athletes have been competing at their peak without receiving the recognition they truly deserve. AWSN is stepping in to rectify this situation. It’s more than just a network; it’s a platform that transforms visibility into opportunity, where ambition and achievement are given prominence, and where young girls and women can identify with the strength and potential showcased by elite competition.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m thrilled about this fresh chapter for women’s sports! The enthusiasm for this content is surging worldwide. Partnering with AWSN to showcase these extraordinary female athletes from various leagues aligns perfectly with our goal of offering captivating, diverse content that fuels fandom and gives a platform to all sports.

George Chung, the co-founder and CEO of AWSN and Jungo TV, was equally enthusiastic about the agreement. He stated, “This is more than just access and visibility; it’s about transforming the game. In partnership, we’re providing a grand platform for live women’s sports, completely free of charge.
