Once more, Anurag Kashyap voiced his discontent over the delay in the distribution of films such as 90, Punjab 95, Tees, Dhadak 2, and Phule. He shared extensive posts criticizing the film’s censorship process, challenging the government for their role in it.

On April 17, Anurag Kashyap took to his Instagram stories and lashed out at the government.

He emphasized, “Ninety Punjab Ninety-five Tees Dhadak 2, along with many other films, seems to be censored due to a government that appears to have a hidden casteist, regionalist, and racist agenda. This administration seems so embarrassed by their own actions that they can’t openly discuss what exactly bothers them about these movies. They are cowards.
