Tabu breaks silence on collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan
Tabu, the actress who shone in Shaadi Ali’s film “Saathiya” released in 2002 alongside Shah Rukh Khan, made another appearance in his director Farah Khan’s “Om Shanti Om.” Recently, Tabu was asked about why she and Shah Rukh haven’t collaborated again.
In response to this query, Tabu clarified, “I don’t produce films, I don’t direct them, and I don’t write their scripts. So, I can’t decide who Shah Rukh Khan collaborates with or which projects come my way next. All I can do is approve or decline the offers presented to me.”
She also mentioned that there were several films which she turned down, believing that Shah Rukh might do the same. However, they hadn’t met on any project yet. Yet, she was mindful of the strong fan desire to see them act together again. “I won’t completely dismiss that,” she stated.
When Tabu revealed getting ‘expensive gifts’ for Om Shanti Om’s Deewangi Deewangi song
In an interview with Zoom, Tabu spoke about her cameo role in the Deewangi Deewangi song from Om Shanti Om. She shared that she did it specifically for Farah Khan and described the experience as “a lot of fun.” Additionally, she mentioned that they were provided with fantastic costumes, hair, and makeup during the shoot. Tabu also added a delightful detail about receiving “generous gifts” from Shah Rukh Khan.
