To add to this heartwarming tale, every significant character introduced before the climactic episode survived, with Captain Massey officiating a beautiful beach wedding in Doctor Odyssey episode 18.

Most importantly, the intricate love triangle involving Doctor Odyssey was definitively resolved (for good this time). After constantly changing sides throughout the series, Avery firmly declares her love for Max and intends to build a relationship with him, without compromising her education.
