People magazine learned from the Emmy-winning actress that she found her “Riff Raff” co-star to be incredibly hard to predict, one of the most unforeseeable individuals she’s ever come across.
During the filming of the presently showing crime comedy, Coolidge remarked that in the heart of winter, the cast and crew found themselves quickly confined within smaller spaces as they sought refuge from the bitter cold.
One day, it was extremely cold, and I was inside the house where we were filming, when all of a sudden a Rolls-Royce pulled up. I wondered who it could be, thinking it must have been the owner of the house. But to my surprise, it turned out to be Pete Davidson in his Rolls-Royce. That car didn’t quite fit with the surroundings or the overall experience. However, I realized he was just doing his own thing. Truth be told, I’ve never been as intriguing as that, arriving in a Rolls-Royce during winter at some ordinary job.”

“On a frosty day, while filming inside the house, a Rolls-Royce unexpectedly appeared. I assumed it was the owner of the house, but to my surprise, it was Pete Davidson behind the wheel. The car seemed out of place given the setting and atmosphere. Yet, I understood he was simply following his unique path. Honestly, I’ve never been as captivating as that moment – showing up in a Rolls-Royce amidst winter’s chill at an ordinary workplace.
I found myself in agreement with Coolidge when he labeled the former Saturday Night Live star as “one of the most enigmatic individuals I’ve come across.” He went on to say, “It’s nearly impossible to pin down a consistent image for him, much like trying to grasp a chameleon.
Yet, the admiration for these two renowned comedians, distinguished by their impeccable comic delivery, doesn’t just end there. In fact, as Davison shared with Access Hollywood, Coolidge was “simply amazing” during their collaboration on the movie.
The comedian remarked, “She’s just like a real-life unicorn.” She embodies the same kindness and generosity that she shows on screen. It’s hard to believe she’s truly human, much like a mythical unicorn.
Under the guidance of director Dito Montiel, the movie titled Riff Raff unfolds the story of ex-criminal Vincent, portrayed by Ed Harris. His tranquil existence is disrupted when his long-lost relatives unexpectedly appear for a much-anticipated family gathering. Alongside him in this film are Bill Murray, Lewis Pullman, and Gabrielle Union.
