As soon as Paradise Episode 2 begins, signs of where the rest of the season is heading start to emerge. For instance, in a quick scene, Sterling K. Brown’s character Xavier Collins is seen talking on his phone with his wife while something exceptionally bright and alarming occurs outside his window.
