WIND AND SEA x NBA Link Back Up for "Champions" Collection

As a longtime fan of both basketball and fashion, I can’t help but be thrilled about the latest collaboration between WIND AND SEA and the NBA. With my love for sportswear and denim pieces, the “Champions” collection has me swooning. The vintage-style t-shirts and the zip-up denim jackets, especially the one with the gold accenting, are right up my alley.

In a series of recent partnerships, WIND AND SEA has been an essential partner, teaming up with Champion, the NBA, DENHAM, and MIYAGIHIDETAKA. For the second time, Takashi Kumagai’s brand is collaborating with the NBA to create the “Champions” collection, celebrating some of the sport’s iconic teams that won championships across different coasts.

The collection features an array of denim items, including a stylish zip-up denim jacket available in light-wash and black tones, embellished with patches labeled “EASTERN” and “WESTERN” along the sleeves. Parisian studio Tyrsa is enlisted by WIND AND SEA to modernize their logo design. Additionally, some garments are influenced by the actual championship trophy, showcasing gold accents.

In other places, you’ll find vintage-style t-shirts available in black and white patterns, adorned with throwback basketball designs. Additionally, Kumagai’s brand boosts the credibility of the latest NBA champions, the Boston Celtics, by offering a variety of items such as a t-shirt, tote bag, and beanie that bear the Celtics’ emblem, specifically their clover symbol.
