‘With Love, Meghan’ Gets a Second Season at Netflix

The Duchess of Sussex will bring viewers back into her home later this year.

Netflix revealed on Friday that another season of “With Love, Meghan” is scheduled to stream this fall, following its debut only three days ago. Production for the upcoming episodes has already been wrapped up.

A lifestyle series titled “With Love, Meghan” showcases the duchess and a mix of long-standing friends and new acquaintances, with guests from the inaugural season such as Mindy Kaling, Abigail Spencer, chefs Roy Choi, and Alice Waters. The program takes place in Meghan’s residence in Montecito, California, where they engage in cooking, gardening, and lively conversations. Additionally, the series emphasizes Meghan’s personal advice, promoting a relaxed, imperfect approach while demonstrating how effortlessly one can cultivate beauty, even in unexpected settings. The tagline captures this essence by stating: “Embracing playfulness over perfection and showcasing how easy it is to create beauty, even in the most unanticipated places.

Originally slated to premiere in January, the series encountered a delay due to the devastating L.A. wildfires. Despite mixed reviews, with The Hollywood Reporter commenting that it feels like an incongruous glimpse into the lives of the privileged, the show has managed to secure a spot among Netflix’s top 10 most-watched this week. Anticipate the official viewership data for “With Love, Meghan” on March 11. As a devoted fan, I can’t wait to see how it fares!

(Working together with the show, the duchess launched a lifestyle brand titled “As Ever,” where each ‘e’ in “ever” is written in lower case. This brand was created in collaboration with Netflix.)

The production company led by the Duchess and Prince Harry, Archewell Productions, collaborates with Sony Pictures Television’s Intellectual Property Corporation to create this series. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex serves as executive producer alongside Chanel Pysnik from Archewell, Aaron Saidman, Eli Holzman, and Michael Steed from IPC. Additionally, Steed oversees the direction of the show.
