Wittle Defender tips & tricks

There are lots of tips to learn, and our Wittle Defender guide will go into both beginner and slightly more advanced tips, so you know exactly what you need to do in every situation.

Ads are your friends!

Wittle Defender is incredibly F2P-friendly, and to keep that alive, there are ads that anyone can watch to claim various rewards. I strongly suggest you watch them for these rewards, since they can give you anything from Stamina to Gold and even revive your heroes for free once per battle.

Here is what you should watch ads for:

  • 3 ads for the Daily Free Pack from the Pack Shop (gives you Gems).
  • 1 ad in the Black Market Shop for the free Gold (2h).
  • 5 ads to refill 5 Stamina every day.
  • 2 ads for free Patrol rewards.
  • 1 ad for free regular Summon in the hero gacha.
  • 1 ad for a free Hero Summon Ticket in the Summon Market.
  • 3 ads for 3 Rate-up Hero Summon Tickets, also in the Summon Market.

Clearly, numerous paths for daily advancement exist. Having learned about these delightful benefits, let’s delve right into the Wittle Defender manual!

Tip #1 – Advance as much as you can every day

Begin by attempting to complete as many levels or stages as possible each day. As you progress, you’ll gain access to increasingly advanced tiers, which are located at the bottom-left corner of your screen. Here are the rank names you’ll encounter during gameplay:

  • Trailblazer
  • Elite
  • Vanguard
  • Warrior
  • Master
  • Legendary
  • Heroic
  • Deity

As a gamer, I’d say, “Every level-up offers fresh content, and trust me, diving into the missions needed to hit each level is worth your time. Try to tackle them as swiftly as possible.

Here’s what you can gain: New equipment, boosted Stamina recharge rates, and a plethora of Hero Summon Tickets. It’s crucial to progress through the story mode as much as you can daily, for each game is unique. I advise using the majority of your Stamina to conquer these stages post-daily tasks completion.

After clearing a chapter, go for the Star Challenge

In the Star Challenge, you will have to challenge a stage you’ve already cleared, and try to finish it with 3*. The more stars you collect, the better you’ll rank, and the more rewards you’ll get. The Star Challenge stages also cost Stamina, so only complete these when you cannot progress any further in the story mode.

Tip #2 – Complete all your 7-day missions & dailies

As soon as you dive into the game, you’ll be granted access to seven-day quests. Consider these your introductory assignments, as upon completing them, you’ll receive a powerful ST hero known as Demon Spawn, who is Mythic in rank. Additionally, there are numerous other rewards up for grabs, so it’s crucial that you strive to finish every task.

Additionally, there’s a section known as the Freebies tab, where you can obtain some items without charge, while others will require either Gems or actual currency. I recommend opting for the Gem-priced packs that include Hero Summon Tickets, as it’s an excellent deal at 2000 Gems.

Do your dailies!

Every single day, there are some dungeons you should try to complete no matter what. That is, if you want to progress a lot in Wittle Defender and make your team a lot stronger.

Here are some daily tasks I suggest you consider: You can find them in the Daily Challenge section, positioned at the bottom right part of your screen. In this area, you’ll encounter the Golden Rat Hole, a spot that offers abundant Gold, the Goblin Ground, providing EXP, and the Boar Hunt, granting gear. While there are other options available, these three are particularly noteworthy and worth giving a try.

Tip #3 – How to get more Gems and spend your Gems?

How to get more Gems?

Gems are the premium currency in Wittle Defender, and there are so many ways you can spend them. To get more Gems, there are quite a few ways. I mentioned the codes for Wittle Defender before, since that’s one way to get them.

  • Complete Chapters
  • From the 7-Day missions
  • Adventure Fund
  • Daily Quests
  • Weekly Quests
  • Achievements
  • First Clear of Daily Challenges
  • Seasonal battle pass

How to spend your Gems in Wittle Defender?

Firstly, if you’re just starting off, I suggest you spend all of your Gems on the packs you unlock in the 7-day Carnival. This has a feature that requires you to spend a certain amount of Gems, so the best way to do that is to purchase the packs that cost Gems. At least, the ones that give Hero Summon Tickets.

Once you’re done here, I advise you to use your Gems in the Black Market Store for some Random Mythic Hero Shards. If you truly find yourself in need of Hero Summoning Tickets, I suggest considering them, but only if they cost 210 Gems or less.

Tip #4 – About Hero Summoning

In the thrilling world of Wittle Defender, I find it fascinating that my initial hero summon guarantees a powerful Demon Spawn (Mythic). Following this, I’m rewarded with some Legendary heroes, which serve their purpose for a while, but eventually, I’ll find myself upgrading to even greater champions.

To swiftly secure the guaranteed Mythic from the Xenoscape Summon, which is the most effective option, I recommend purchasing the 2000 Gem packs. These packs provide Hero Summon Tickets that will help you reach the goal of performing a total of 500 summons to unlock the Xenoscape Summon.

It can be quite challenging to obtain Xenoscape Hero Summon Tickets as you only receive one ticket after performing 40 summons in the standard gacha system.

Tip #5 – Battle tips for Wittle Defender

1. Military Strategy – This refers to the art of organizing and deploying military forces effectively in battle. It includes planning, tactics, logistics, and coordination to gain an advantage over the enemy.

2. Weapons and Tactics – This category encompasses various tools and methods used by soldiers in combat, such as guns, swords, shields, armor, and battle formations.

3. Battlefield Tactics – These are specific strategies employed during a conflict to gain an advantage over the enemy, often involving maneuvering troops, using terrain, and exploiting weaknesses.

4. Leadership and Morale – This aspect focuses on the qualities of commanders and their ability to inspire and maintain the spirit and motivation of their troops, as well as the overall impact of morale on battle outcomes.

5. Psychological Aspects – This refers to the emotional aspects of warfare, such as fear, courage, and motivation, both in individuals and entire armies. It also includes propaganda and deception used to influence public opinion or demoralize the enemy.

6. Peace Negotiations – These are discussions aimed at resolving conflicts through diplomacy rather than military means, often involving concessions, compromises, and agreements between opposing parties.

7. Military History – This field studies the evolution of warfare over time, including major battles, military leaders, strategies, technologies, and their impact on history.

  • The first hero you deploy will go in the middle (like the five dots of a dice, the first hero will be placed in the middle, protected by the other four). This should be your strongest hero, the one you never want to die – ideally, the boss killer.
  • Always deploy five heroes for the EXP multiplier.
  • Try to focus on the skills of a boss killer hero (like Demon Spawn) and one AoE hero, then on the others.
  • Chain Skills are good, but not mandatory. They will help, but always prioritise evolving the skill of your heroes wherever possible.
  • You will get skill rerolls from your Talents, and you should reroll only when the skills you draw during battle are useless.
  • I recommend playing the battles on at least 2x speed.
  • Revive your fallen heroes only if absolutely necessary and if they have their skills upgraded – otherwise, they might not even be worth reviving at all.

Tip #6 – Upgrade your heroes’ gears and your Talents

Gear

Last but definitely not least, I want to touch on the hero equipment. Gear is important, but the best part is that you don’t have to level up individual pieces of gear. You will level up a hero slot, and that slot will include the hero level and the gears. Basically, you can swap heroes among themselves without fear of losing your resources.

It’s a fantastic feature that I believe a lot more games should have!

To excel in this game, it’s crucial to concentrate on enhancing a couple of your team’s heroes primarily. Enhance their equipment slots to at least +10 and don’t overlook refining the new gear you acquire. This process will elevate the stats for each slot, but keep in mind that it’ll require substantial amounts of Gold and Azure Essence. Additionally, be aware that refining can occasionally fail, so brace yourself for potential setbacks.

Talents

Talents can be found in the Camp> Talent tent, and there you will draw a card that gives you one Talent. Drawing costs increasingly more Gold, so to max out your Talents, it can cost you millions eventually.

Start by making drawings until it costs no more than 15,000 Gold per draw. Then, use that accumulated Gold to improve your equipment. Once you feel content with the level of upgrades on your gear, continue drawing Talents.

By the way, make sure not to skip the new codes for Wittle Defender, as they offer a generous amount of Gems and Hero Summon Tickets.
