For over three decades, Ajay Devgn has been a towering figure among Bollywood stars, boasting numerous successful films and collaborations with top-tier directors in the Hindi film industry. In reminiscing about a amusing anecdote involving one of these directors, Devgn shared that during a storyline explanation for an emotional scene, the director became so engrossed that he ended up lying on the floor and weeping. “He appeared to be crying on the ground,” recalled the actor.

2023 saw Ajay Devgn appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote a movie with Tabu. He reminisced about a humorous incident that occurred during a film project, but refrained from disclosing the director’s name. He also mentioned that he didn’t end up working in the film eventually. The director began reading the script, and as he reached an emotional scene, he broke down crying on the ground.

In a playful manner, he mentioned that as he was recounting a song scene, he began to mimic and assume the character’s behavior fitting for that specific moment. When Tabu inquired about his experience from Kapil, the entertainer-actor expressed that the director became so engrossed, he had to tell him, “You’re doing it so splendidly, you should take on the role yourself.

In terms of his career, Ajay Devgn has several upcoming films ready, including Son of Sardaar 2. This sequel to his 2012 comedy co-stars Mrunal Thakur, Sanjay Dutt, and others. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, under the direction of Vijay Kumar Arora.
